The Satellite A660 uses a rather fast Dual-Core Intel Core i3 350M CPU with 2.26 GHz clock speed. As the processor uses two cores it means that the user will get better performance. To get really great performance you will need a laptop with Quad-Core CPU like Sony VAIO F Series VPC-F22AFX/BI.

The 4 GB of memory is minimum size which will be enough for normal usage. If you need more memory, the memory is expandable up to 8 GB.
